Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how VPNHey handles information when providing cross-border access and network acceleration subscriptions. It applies to this site's marketing pages, user panel, and related services. Account, transaction, and support information is handled according to its purpose; network access content is not retained as a user profile.

Account Information and Purposes

No email address is required to create an account; a username and password are all you need. The username identifies the account, and the password is used for authentication and stored in a form that cannot be directly reversed. Do not include unrelated identity information in your username or support tickets, or submit your account password or full subscription credentials.

Order records include the selected plan, amount, payment status, and fulfillment details. They are used to activate subscriptions, verify transactions, and handle after-sales requests. Issue descriptions, attachments, and replies submitted through panel tickets are used to address those requests. Usage analytics help us understand page visits and entry-point clicks; they are not used to create browsing profiles.

No-Logs Policy and Connection Information

VPNHey follows a no-logs policy. We do not record which websites users visit, retain browsing histories, lists of destinations, or transmitted content, or create connection log profiles that could be used to trace individual browsing activity. Account usage and order records are not browsing histories.

Connection status needed to operate the service is used only while a connection is being handled and is not retained as a long-term history of connection logs. Aggregate usage used for traffic accounting may be retained with the account, but it does not include details of websites visited. Troubleshooting materials submitted by users are handled for the purposes of the support ticket. Please redact other accounts, access content, and credentials before uploading.

Cookies and Local Storage

The user panel uses browser local storage to save login credentials and language preferences, helping maintain your signed-in state and display your selected interface. Cookies, when used for sessions or usage analytics, are limited to those functions and are not used to store cross-border access content. Page usage analytics and route communications are handled separately.

You can use your browser settings to restrict cookies or clear this site's cookies and local storage. After clearing them, you may need to sign in again and reselect your language; restricting necessary storage may also affect panel features. Clearing browser data does not also delete your account, orders, or support tickets from our servers.

Payment Processing and Information Sharing

This site supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service or network, and their handling of information is governed by their respective rules. VPNHey uses the order identifier, amount, and payment result needed to verify completed transactions. We do not ask users to submit payment passwords through support tickets.

Account information is not sold or rented. When information must be shared to complete a payment, provide necessary technical support, or meet applicable legal obligations, the scope is limited to what is required for that purpose. Third-party websites and payment pages are not covered by this policy.

Data Retention and Deletion Requests

Account information is retained for service needs while an account is in use; order information is retained for transaction verification, after-sales support, and applicable legal requirements; and support tickets and usage analytics are retained for as long as their respective purposes require. When a purpose ends and there is no basis for further retention, the relevant information is deleted or de-identified. There is no single permanent retention period.

You can sign in to the panel and use the support ticket portal to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information. We need to verify account ownership before processing a request. If a transaction dispute or legal retention requirement remains, we will explain what cannot yet be deleted. Deleting an account may affect subscription access and after-sales verification; information in backups is cleared as backups are rotated.

Policy Updates and Privacy Requests

Updates to this policy will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the beginning will be revised. Significant changes to processing purposes, information collected, or user rights will be explained through site announcements or panel notices. Where separate consent is required, the relevant processing will begin only after that consent is obtained.

If you have questions about this policy or how information is handled, use a panel support ticket to describe the type of request and the account details involved. Do not publish subscription addresses or login credentials on public channels. Subscription and transaction rules are available in the Terms of Service; for other operational questions, see the Frequently Asked Questions.
